Do you have any New Year’s resolutions? I do. I am going to make sure I persevere with my blog, even through the technical issues I’ve been experiencing with it. I’ve taken a little break from blogging recently because of the stress the technical side of things has caused me. I’m so keen to showcase my style and wardrobe, and to offer little tips and tricks that I’ve learnt throughout the years, so that you can feel fabulous everyday. Unfortunately, my darn website often likes to put a stop to things! 🙁 Anyway, I am going to do my absolute best to get my pics and info out there in the hope to inspire you. Starting now…..
This black mesh dress was a mere $10 from Valleygirl, one of my favourite stores. As usual, I’ve added my own belt (It came with a cord tie) and other tan accessories to give it a simple, yet stylish, look. I think it’s proof you don’t need to spend a lot to create a chic outfit. Sometimes items just need a little jazzing up and a belt is a great way to do it. They’re usually inexpensive and you can choose different colours and styles to create entire new looks with one simple item. Because this dress is plain black, you could add pretty much any kind of belt to it. Imagine a red belt and red shoes. Or a leopard print statement belt. Cool, huh? Have a browse through your wardrobe and see what items could use a little updating with a funky belt. You might end up wearing it more than ever!
