I’m 43. Does that make me too old to wear a mini skirt? I sure hope not!
I actually don’t believe there are age limitations when it comes to dressing. If you’re comfortable wearing something, that’s all that matters. I will often find myself in stores targeted at a younger demographic than I am. I like to stay on-trend and stores such as Valleygirl, Zara and H&M stock up-to-date, fashionable clothing all year round. It doesn’t bother me that they market to teenagers and twenty somethings. I like their stuff and I wear it with glee 🙂
I love this leather mini skirt. I went half-way across Sydney to get it. It was on sale at Forever New. At only $65 for a genuine leather mini, I simply had to have it, but the store I first saw it in didn’t have my size. The sales assistant rang around and located my size miles from my home. Without hesitation, I took a one hour train ride to get it. Am I glad I did? You betcha!
When you find something you absolutely love, buy it. You don’t want to regret the purchases you didn’t make. Just be sure you do really love it though. I don’t need to tell you that an unworn item hanging in your wardrobe creates more regret than any non-purchase will.
