I am obsessed with these shorts! So much so that I bought them in pink as well. I was very tempted to buy them in more colours but a girl has to draw the line somewhere 😉
These little beauties were a recent purchase from Valleygirl. At just $14.95, I consider them a true bargain. The fabric is nice and soft, so they’re super comfortable. They also don’t crease easily, which is important to me, as I mentioned in my ‘hot pink pants’ post last week. I also love the fact that they come with their own sash belt. Having the same coloured belt as your shorts keeps the look simple and streamlined, so you can mix and match lots of different tops. It also takes the hassle out of choosing a belt.
Shorts can be so versatile, depending on the style. As you can see from the pictures, shorts like these can be dressed up with heels and a blouse for a stylish look that wouldn’t be out of place at a high tea with the girls or a cheeky drink at a trendy bar. They can also be dressed down with sneakers and a t-shirt for a fun shopping day or a casual cafe breakfast. Just make sure you choose a length and style that you’re comfortable with and get shorty!
Now, about white shoes……have you embraced them? Gone are the days when white shoes were considered tacky. They now have a place in the fashion world and a place in my wardrobe! I intend to buy another pair or two this summer because they’re a great wardrobe staple for the hotter months. There’s nothing sweeter than a floral dress with a pair of white sandals. Or sexier than a sheath dress with some textured white stilettos. Anyway, that’s just my opinion, but maybe you’ll grow to love white shoes too. Unless you already have, of course!
