I bought this skirt from a second hand market for $3. Yes, that’s right. 3 dollars!!! It still had the tag on it 🙂
Markets are a really fabulous place to find a bargain because the stall holders are usually people that are just trying to offload their pre-loved items, so they are more than willing to sell at a low price. Of course, unlike stores, you don’t get the option of differing sizes, so if items don’t fit then unfortunately you miss out 🙁 The upside, though, is you can get one-off pieces that no one else has. For a bargain!!!
I often head to the markets when I need to free up some space in my wardrobe. I don’t make a lot of money but it’s nice to give your clothes and accessories a new home and it’s usually a fun day out. You get to meet lots of people and check out some of the other stalls. You might even find a treasure to take home with you. Defeats the purpose of going to the markets but, hey, it might just make you super happy and that’s what life is all about!
