I love flowers!!! In a garden, in a bouquet, on my clothes and in my hair! I’m very happy that it’s perfectly acceptable to wear a row of flowers on your head 😉
Both of these looks are for a day at the races. In one look, feminine and flirty. In the other, dramatic black textures. Which do you prefer?
I purchased my floral garlands for just $5 each from Kmart. They’re the perfect accessory to dress up an outfit and give it some pizzazz. That’s what I love most about a day at the race track. It’s the best excuse to wear clothes and accessories that you wouldn’t normally wear.
If you’re not one to go the races, you can always get inspiration for other events from these looks. The floral dress would be perfect for a wedding or a special luncheon and the black velvet dress would be great for a cocktail party or a fancy date night. (Perhaps minus the floral headband!) Alternatively, the floral headbands would work wonderfully with a boho style outfit for a fun-filled music festival.
