Today’s look is funky outerwear and boots. This outfit is perfect for outdoor activities and sightseeing. I’ve paired my gorgeous down-filled puffer jacket (A Jessica Simpson one that I found for a bargain at only $65) with low heeled boots, but if you plan on doing some serious walking, this look will work just as well with flat boots or groovy runners.
The striped top takes this simple look and makes it stylish and cool. Alternatively, you could add a bright jumper under the jacket to really make the outfit pop.
The leggings I have on are a steal at $20 from K-mart. They’re a ponte fabric so they are thick and opaque. They are also flattering and fit firmly to the body.
* Something to be careful of when buying leggings- make sure the fabric is not see-through by holding them up in the light. I consider this very important, particularly if you are going to wear your leggings with short tops.
