I’m loving the olive green trend at the moment, so I was excited to put this bodysuit and skirt together. I think this outfit has an elegant, resort feel about it. I could very much imagine myself sipping a cocktail in a hotel lobby bar in Tahiti wearing this!
This skirt is an old one, so I can’t send you off shopping to get it 🙁 What I can do is inspire you to wear something you may not have considered. When I first saw this skirt I didn’t think it would suit me. It was much higher in the waist than I was used to and it seemed a bit too ‘grown up’. I decided to try it anyway and was pleasantly surprised. I bought it for two main reasons. 1. It was very cheap and 2. I didn’t have anything else like it in my wardrobe and I wanted to be a bit more adventurous. I’m so glad I did. I always get compliments when I wear it and that puts a smile on my face.
So, next time you’re out shopping, pick up something a bit out of the ordinary. Something you would never normally wear. Something that scares you a little bit. Give it a try and follow your instincts from there. You may stubble across a little gem that, while different to your usual style, makes you feel wonderful whenever you wear it. Everyone likes to feel wonderful, right? 🙂
