I’m having a bit of a moment with turban headbands. Actually all headbands ,truth be told š
I’ve had a couple of turban headbands in my wardrobe for a few years now. They didn’t get worn much but since seeing them pop up in shops and fashion pages recently, I’ve started a new love affair with them. I’ve added to my collection and now I have quite a few to choose from. Plain black, hot pink, bright red, blue floral, beige floral and red floral. You’d think that would be enough but I’m currently on the hunt for a tropical print one š
If you haven’t tried a turban headband it might be worth giving them a go. They’re an inexpensive way to add glamour and pizzazz to an outfit and, if you’re handy with a sewing machine, you could probably even make your own!
Other styles of headbands are also making a comeback and I’m pretty crazy about them too. I love the retro vibe of the striped headband below. It’s a cute and playful look and was a bargain at $7 for a pack of two. (The other one is a gorgeous black and white check.) You’ll find bow headbands everywhere at the moment. Beautiful fabric covered headbands are also hitting the shelves, as are sophisticated knot headbands. Embellished bands, velvet bands, knitted bands, the list goes on….
You can create a really cool outfit with a simple top and jeans or a basic dress just by adding a stylish headband. That’s the beauty of accessories. They’re usually low cost and can make so much difference to an outfit.
I hope I’ve inspired you to give headbands a try. They really are a great addition to your wardrobe and you never know, you might just start a love affair with them too.
Enjoy the rest of the week,
Kylie xxx

Hi Kylie, Iā m looking for a small red bag like the one in your main photo. Can you tell me where you got yours or where I can get one similar?
Hi Kaye,
Thanks for getting in touch š
That bag is from Big W. It’s a couple of months old so unfortunately it may no longer be available. Colette has some great red bags and I have also seen some lovely ones online through ASOS and Boohoo. Red is a really popular colour for accessories at the moment so I’m sure you’ll find perfect red bag soon!
Have a fabulous day,
