Another LBD that I am totally in love with!
I’ve had this black dress for many years now. It was just $15 and I’ve worn it a lot, so it was a great purchase. Because it’s a simple style, it goes with so many different accessories. I’ve stuck with the same shoes and bag for these photos but I’ve changed up the jewellery for a bit of fun. I’m a firm believer that if you’re going to wear a big necklace, then keep your earrings basic or wear none at all. Vice versa for statement earrings. No necklace or a small chain only. You want to keep one piece the focus of attention.
Today I’m showing you two looks- one with a bold necklace and the other with detailed earrings. I think the necklace gives a slightly dressier look but my preference would be the outfit with the earrings. Which do you prefer?
It’s always a great idea to have a few basic dresses in your wardrobe so you can mix and match your jewellery and accessories. This way you’ll always have something to go with your favourite dramatic piece of jewellery or kick butt studded stilettos!
