This dress has horses on it! It was a $19 bargain from Kmart. It came with a belt but I added one that I got from H&M. The belt has two buckles on it which I find quirky and rather cool 🙂
I love navy and tan together so for this look my belt, boots and bag are all tan leather. Leather is usually an expensive material but all of these items were heavily discounted. As I suggest in my ‘Tips and Tricks’ page, it’s a great idea to scour sale racks for a bargain or two. Sometimes you’ll find fabulous things at a price you can afford.
In regards to leather products, particularly light coloured ones, make sure you weather guard them. I buy a can of waterproofing spray from the supermarket and use it whenever I get new shoes or a bag. That way, I don’t have to worry about getting caught in the rain. No one wants their new goodies damaged by Mother Nature!
