I’ve wanted a sassy leather mini dress ever since I saw Jennifer Aniston rocking one at a movie premiere back in 2011. I finally got one! Well, as close as I could get anyway 🙂
I was super excited when I found this faux leather dress in Zara. Yes, it’s not genuine leather but I think it’s a pretty good substitute. Faux leather has come a long way since the days when it looked like plastic. Sometimes I can’t even tell the difference, though the price is usually a dead giveaway! This little number was just $49.95, so definitely a bargain in my eyes.
As I’m sure you’ve heard many times before, a little black dress (or ten) is something every girl needs in her wardrobe. They’re great for those times when an unexpected social event pops up or your partner surprises you with a dinner date. (Lucky you!)
When shopping for your LBD, look for one that is flattering and makes you feel good. This is so much more important than buying a dress in the latest fashion trend. You also don’t necessarily need to spend a lot of money. All of the black dresses I own were $50 or less and I’m very happy with them. Of course, if you do find one you truly love that’s a little on the pricey side, go ahead and buy it. If you choose a classic style that is right for your body shape, it can be a wardrobe staple for years to come. It’s always nice to have a special dress that makes you feel like a million bucks hanging in your closet 🙂
